Dental Staff

Dr. F. E. Thomas is a native of Millen, Georgia. He attended Georgia Southern University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Prior to dental school, Dr. Thomas completed Fetal Hemodynamics Developmental Cardiac Physiological research under pediatric cardiologist Dr. William Lutin MD at the Medical College of Georgia. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Augusta University College of Dental Medicine, which is ranked in the top 20 dental schools in the world. While attending dental school, He excelled in oral surgery, restorative and operative dentistry.  He is a former Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of General Dentistry at Augusta University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Thomas has had the privilege of serving Bulloch, Chatham, Screven and surrounding counties for almost 20 years. The combination of continuing education and state of the art equipment allows him to offer his patients dentistry with a gentle touch. Dr. Thomas has trained with several world renowned dentists; Dr. Robert “Big Bob” Gerety, Dr. Ronald Goldstein and Dr. Gordon Christensen to name a few. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, and the Southeastern Dental Society.

 Dr. Thomas and his wife Alicia enjoy being actively involved in the community. In his free time, Dr. Thomas enjoys biblical studies, playing chess, spending time with his children, playing bass guitar, golf, and restoring old Fords.

Dr. Thomas, a native of Savannah Georgia, attended Georgia Southern University and The Medical College of Georgia with honors, cum laude, for her under graduate studies. She was a recipient of the Dr. Walter Sheppard M.D. Academic Achievement Award and a member of the Alpha Eta National Honor Society. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the prestigious Medical College of Georgia, now Augusta University. While at MCG, she received extensive training in pediatric, special needs and general dentistry. Dr. Thomas provided voluntary dental services at the Gracewood/East Central Regional Hospital in Augusta, Ga., Georgia Regional Hospital in Savannah, and South Central Dental Clinic in Dublin, Ga. She joined Thomas Dental Center upon graduation and they pride themselves on maintaining a high level of quality dentistry. To enhance her skills and to continue to provide exceptional dental care and service, she has received additional dental education at the University of Florida and Augusta University. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Southeastern Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Orthodontics Society.

Dr. Thomas, better known as Dr. Alicia, is actively involved in the community of Bulloch and Chatham County. Drs. Thomas have formed a scholarship program for the graduating youth in her hometown. She also has formed an Empowering Young Women Program were she mentors and help young ladies and single mothers with interview skills, resume preparation, and provide business clothing to prepare for employment interviews. Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her family on off days.
